A new world of ticketing
An icon of the Belgian art and music scene, Bozar hosts a vast variety of events almost every single day of the year. That’s why a brand-new ticketing platform was such a huge challenge – it needed to be fast and efficient, simple yet flexible. Emakina stepped up to the plate to help Bozar create a seamless ticketing process.
The challenge
Belgium’s major cultural venue is a hub of year-round events, including concerts, exhibitions, films, workshop, talks and debates. Ticket sales make up a large portion of the institution’s revenue, so it was important that the new ticketing system caters to the rich cultural experience visitors enjoy at Bozar.
Our solution

We wrote a technical specifications document that detailed the scope of the new ticketing project – drive ticket sales, simplify ticket management, increase group bookings and reduce box office queues, to name but a few features. The new ticketing environment also had to work in a multilingual environment (English, French and Dutch), with promotional offers and seat selection at the magnificent Henry Le Boeuf Hall.
