Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld is a great couturier, but he’s also a designer, photographer, caricaturist and film director. After learning the ropes with Balmain and Patou, he became artistic director of Fendi in 1965. In 1983, he became creative director of the Chanel fashion house, shortly before launching his own brand in parallel.
